The Fairfield LGA within the seat of Prospect welcomes far more refugees, mostly Assyrian Christians, than any other community in Australia -- yet is ignored by the Baird Government when it comes to schools, hospitals, housing and transport.

Last night on Paul Murray LIVE Hugh spoke about how the Baird Government is failing thousands of Assyrian refugees who have fled persecution at the hands of ISIS, by failing to invest in vital infrastructure.

The Assyrian Christian people are a wonderful and important part of our community. It's time that the Baird Government recognizes this and provides the infrastructure that we really need.

PROSPECT RIPPED OFF IN STATE BUDGET

Patients, students, and aspiring homeowners in Prospect are the biggest losers in the latest NSW Budget handed down by the Baird Government.

Premier Mike Baird and Treasurer Gladys Berejiklian have turned budget Grinch, hoarding away over $8 billion in surplus taxes over the next four years, ignoring a raft of health, education and housing affordability priorities in Prospect.

The Government claims the state is debt free, yet have chosen to stash away the rivers of stamp duty gold flowing from Sydney’s property boom rather than invest in better schools and hospitals.

NSW Wastewatch can reveal that the Baird-Grant Government has paid $16,500 to a "water-diviner" from Wagga Wagga who uses bronze rods and pre-decimal currency in an attempt to find water.
