Motion: More Parking for Pendle Hill

Hugh is pushing for the size of the  proposed commuter carpark in Pendle Hill to be increased.

Text of motion:

Madam SPEAKER,

I give notice that on the next sitting day, I will move that this House notes:

1. The transport options for commuters in the electorate of Prospect are severely limited by the shortage of parking spaces near Pendle Hill Railway Station
2. The NSW Government, under three different Premiers, has yet to construct an adequate number of additional parking spaces to meet demand
3. The proposed carpark, to be built on the site of existing parking, will be too small to meet the demand for parking in Pendle Hill
4. Calls on the NSW Government to increase the size of the proposed carpark in Pendle Hill.
