I made a contribution to the debate on the Government Sector Finance Amendment (Government Grants) Bill 2021.
Too often, Governments utilise taxpayer dollars to pay for grants while completely excluding the taxpayer from the decision.
Hardworking businesses and groups deserve a fair opportunity to apply for and receive grants. It should not matter whether a business or group resides in a Government Electorate, or a non-Government Electorate.
All businesses and groups in NSW should have an equal opportunity to receive NSW government grants, despite their postcode.
