Zoe's Law

I made a contribution to the debate on the Crimes Legislation Amendment (Loss of Foetus) Bill 2021.

In NSW, the law currently defines the loss of a foetus by a third-party as only grievous bodily harm to the pregnant woman.

This Bill provides better access to justice for pregnant women and their families for when an unborn child is lost due to criminal behaviour, especially including serious personal violence and driving offences.
